Appointments

diary_appointmentWe operate an appointment system for doctors and the nurse. At present we mainly offer telephone consultations for our doctors. Following your telephone consultation if the doctor needs to see you - you will be invited in for a face to face. We want out patients to feel safe to visit the practice during the pandemic and have limited the number of patients in the waiting area.

You may telephone the receptionist for an appointment. Please tell us if you want an additional member of your family to be seen at the same time. This would enable the receptionist to book a longer appointment with the doctor or nurse.

If you wish, you may ask to see a particular doctor or nurse. We will make a note of your preference and do our best to respect your choice.

If you have a medical problem that needs to be seen the same day please speak to the receptionist.

Emergency Clinics- during the current pandemic we are not operating  a walk in clinic.

Telephone Access

You can phone to the surgery during opening hours. If you wish to speak to the the doctor or nurse, the receptionist will take your message and the doctor or nurse will call you back as soon as possible. This is normally after the morning clinic or the evening clinic.

Interpreters

If you need an interpreter please tell the receptionist and she will make a note on your records for an interpreter to be booked for your appointment.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
