As well as our usual practice team of GPs , Nurses , HCAs , reception and admin staff - our practice has PCN  ( primary care network staff) staff who will be involved in your care.

Bushra Ali (f)- Clinical Pharmacist - can help with medication queries, chronic disease management ( e.g asthma reviews, diabetes monitoring), can administer flu vaccines. Bushra works at our practice on Mondays and Thursdays.

Physicians Associate - Peter Kurth (m) - Physician Associates are new healthcare professionals who, while not a doctor, work to the medical model, with the attitudes, skills and knowledge base to deliver holistic care and treatment within the general medical and/or general practice team under defined levels of supervision

Maryam Ullah (f)- Health and Wellbeing coach.

Health and wellbeing coaches support people to increase their ability to self-manage, motivation levels and commitment to change their lifestyle. They are experts in behaviour change and focus on improving health related outcomes by working with people to set personalised goals and change their behaviours. They work with people with physical and/or mental health conditions and those at risk of developing them.Health and wellbeing coaches can be an effective intervention for people experiencing a range of long term conditions, including respiratory, cardiovascular (including type 2 diabetes and hypertension), and stress/low mood. They can also support people with weight management, diet and increasing activity levels.

Community Midwives

The practice has a team of midwives that run a clinic every Wednesday afternoon providing antenatal and postnatal care.

Community Nurses

If you are confined to your home through frailty, illness or after an operation and require the help of a nurse, the surgery can arrange for you to be seen by a district nurse. They are also able to give advice on daily living aids, incontinence  and help for carers.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
